Heart Shaped Celtic Knot in Walnut
While I was carving the knot below, I was envisioning a heart-shaped
knot. A few sketches, and a day of carving

Celtic Knot in Walnut
This piece was carved for Valentine's Day; inspired by a friend suggesting
that a Celtic knot is the perfect symbol of a relationship. The light
color is the sapwood, the dark is the heartwood. The two can not live
without each other, and together they are uniquely beautiful.3" long, February 2002
